Digital and creative support for Marden's growers, makers and firms
Marden’s identity grew out of its orchards. The station opened in 1844 largely to carry fruit from the surrounding farms, and in 1933 a group of local top-fruit growers started the show that went on to become the National Fruit Show, held in the village until 1991. Fruit and farming still shape the landscape along the B2079, but the village has a second economy too: the industrial estate on Pattenden Lane, north of the railway, which has housed workshops, manufacturers and service firms since the 1950s.
So a Marden business might be a grower supplying wholesalers, an engineering firm in a Pattenden Lane unit, a shop in the village centre or a consultant who catches the train to London. We work with all of them from our office at Union Park in Maidstone, a short drive north, which makes meeting up easy. Come and see us, or we’ll drive down to your farm, unit or shop; a video call is there if that’s handier. Our film crew comes to you whenever there’s footage to capture. What we can do for you:

Why Marden businesses work with Dope Studio
A Marden firm may well sell far beyond the village, to wholesalers, trade customers or online shoppers anywhere in the country. That needs marketing that looks as professional as the product. We’d rather understand it properly, which means meeting you: at your farm office or workshop, or at our Maidstone office just up the road. When harvest or a busy order book makes that hard, we can talk over a video call instead.
We understand rural and trade businesses
We plan marketing for trade buyers as carefully as for the public, because many Marden businesses need to reach both.
Close by and happy to visit
