Project overview

Showing the people,
process and character
of the brewery.

Created for their website, social media, and use inside the brewery itself, giving Musket a bank of video content that could be used beyond a single post.

The content needed to do more than simply show the finished product. It had to give people a feel for the brewery itself, the team behind it and the care that goes into what they make, while still feeling relaxed and true to Musket’s personality.

The content needed to do more than simply show the finished product. It had to give people a feel for the brewery itself, the team behind it and the care that goes into what they make, while still feeling relaxed and true to Musket’s personality.

Behind the Beer

A big part of the project was giving people a closer look at the brewing process.

We filmed inside the brewery to capture the work that goes into producing the beer, from the equipment and brewing stages through to the finished pint. The aim was to make the content informative without making it feel overly polished or removed from the personality of the brewery.

Creating docu-style video content that felt natural to the business and helped customers see more of what goes on behind the scenes.

Built Around the Brewery

Beyond the day-to-day brewing process, we created video around Musket Brewery’s birthday celebrations and their appearance at the Great British Beer Festival.

Rather than approaching every shoot as a standalone film, the focus was on creating a wider mix of footage that could work across social media and support Musket’s regular marketing.

That included shorter pieces suited to Instagram and Facebook alongside longer-form YouTube content where there was more of a story to tell.

Online and in the Taproom

Musket also used the content on screens inside the taproom, giving visitors a look at the brewing process while they were there. It meant the footage became part of the customer experience as well as part of the brewery’s online content.

Musket’s own website also features brewery videos covering individual beers and brewing methods as you browse the product, a useful tool for the business to explain its products and process.

Video production for a Kent brewery

For us, the project was a good example of how business video content can work harder when it is planned for several uses from the start.

One shoot can create material for social media, a website, events and the physical venue itself. The result is a more useful library of content and a better return from the time spent filming.
