The Beatles filmed scenes for Magical Mystery Tour on the High Street in 1967, and the backdrop has only matured since: Georgian frontages, the Swan Street waterfall Turner once painted, Mill Yard’s courtyard, and St Leonard’s Tower facing the parkland of Manor Park Country Park.
Our crew drives over from Maidstone with cameras, lights and sound kit to film at your premises and around the town. We plan the shoot, direct on the day and edit back at the studio. Here’s what we produce:
The High Street is busy with traffic, shoppers and diners for much of the day, so we plan shoots carefully. We pick times when light and footfall work in our favour, keep our set-up compact on narrow pavements and get permission in advance where private property is involved. Being a short drive away, we can come back on a different day if the weather turns or return for the next season’s content.
